With the new GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, your rights and liberties connected to your personal data have strengthened.
We will only process your personal data when we have the legal basis to do so. That basis will usually be one of the following:
- legitimate interest.
Your consent is valuable to us, and we will always try to obtain it whenever we start to process your personal data. You are also free to withdraw the consent to the processing at any point, by simply contacting us. However, we might continue to process that data under some other legal basis – for example to carry out our contractual agreement or discharge a legal duty. In other cases it could also be that we see a legitimate interest in processing your personal data. However, if we do decide we have to continue processing your data after you withdraw your consent, we will inform you of the legal basis on which we do so.
We also use the help of other companies in processing your data. They help manage our emails or conduct background checks, etc. If you wish to know about the companies whose services we use, simply contact us.
We will store your data only as long as one of the legal bases for processing applies. If you withdraw your consent to the processing, and no other legal basis is available, we will delete your data (unless you wish otherwise). If there are legal bases still applicable, we may continue to process your data, but your withdrawal of consent will be taken into account when determining the usefulness of such processing. If you wish to obtain more detailed information about the retention period of your data, we will provide you with the envisioned time period when you contact us.
We process your data for a number of reasons. They can be covered under the broad term of carrying out the business of providing temporary and permanent staff to our Clients. This includes communication with the locum doctors and the clients, processing of payroll, conducting background checks, etc. If you wish to enquire further why we process your data, we are more than happy to provide you with further information – simply send an email to our DPO, whose contact details can be found below in this notice.

If you wish to act on those rights, simply contact us. Our DPO can be contacted at email@example.com, and they will respond to you as quickly as possible – and either provide you with confirmation that the right has been acted upon, or with information on why we decided not to act on your right.
You are also able to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office, if you believe that the way we process the data does not comply with the relevant data protection laws and regulations – however, we do ask that you first contact us, so that we can resolve any issues you may have as to our operation.
Lastly, in case you wish to obtain more information as to how we process your data (for example what exact categories of data we hold, or how we obtain it), simply contact our DPO. They will be more than happy to provide you with all the relevant information.
